This week in the Wonderful World of E:

A new skill I learned

Decorating Christmas cookies at Grandma's house. I got an award for most Colorful Cookie Creation!

Something I'm working on
Listening to Mama. It's hard. I have really big ideas and things to do.

Something I did that was naughty

Woke up at 3 am. Turned on the light. Climbed in baby's crib. Woke her up. Played and laughed until Mama came in. She was NOT happy. Probably because it's the second time I've done this. It was just so much fun! It's hard to wait for morning to get up and play.

Something I did that was kind

Visited my nursery teacher. She broke her hip. I gave her hugs and brought her a treat. She gave me LOTS of treats. After I left I told Daddy, "I love her, SO much"

Funny thing I said

Wow, Mama! Look at the muscles you got!

Funny thing Mommy said/did

Moved baby's crib to a different room. Hmm...weird. I wonder why she did that.....

Fun activity

Christmas! I got to see all my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. I also got to help plow snow with Daddy on his 4Wheeler. I even got to drive!

We had a wonderful Christmas filled with family, friends, busy sugar-loaded kiddos, and lots of love!

We celebrated Nathaniel's big 3-0. Love my handsome man.

We decorated gingerbread houses. Well Easton ATE everything for the gingerbread houses :)

This week in the Wonderful World of E:

A new skill I learned

Cutting. Mama had no idea I knew how to do this so well. Boy did I surprise her!

Something I'm working on
Computer. I am trying new games on pbs kids.

Something I did that was naughty

Opened the front door and told Fern to "Run away Fernie!"

Something I did that was kind

I was sick and up a lot one night. I was laying on my Horton the Elephant stuffed animal. I looked at him and said, "I love you Horton, SO much". 

Funny thing I said

Mama a cow step on my tractor. Guys fixin' it. (SEE PICTURE BELOW)

Funny thing Mommy said/did

Please don't wipe your nose on my bottom.

Fun activity

Playing in my playroom. I get super busy down there. So much work to do. Sometimes Fern helps. I reward her by scooping extra food into her bowl when Mama isn't looking.

Eight Months

Eight Months Old

You are SO close to crawling baby girl! You scoot yourself along on your belly. You look like you are break dancing when you spin around to change direction. You had a fun first Christmas. You LOVED the wrapping paper. You loved the lights on the Christmas tree, the way you gazed at them melted my heart. We bundled you both up to go see the Christmas Village lights. You stayed warm and toasty. Your eyes were HUGE as you took in all of the lights around you.

It's okay bro, I got this.

Christmas Village

Every time we drove passed downtown Ogden Easton would see the Christmas Village and squeal, "Mama wanna go there!!" We had a blast. Easton especially loved the train he got to ride on.

This week in the Wonderful World of E:

A new skill I learned

Helping Mama load the dishwasher.

Something I'm working on
My birthday wish list. So far it goes like this: Green tractor, slinky, drink of water.

Something I did that was naughty

I was supposed to be in bed, but instead I moved my toybox so I could stand on it and turn on my light. Then me and my dog got out and played with every toy in my room. Mama heard me giggling and broke up the party. She even put Fern downstairs to sleep. Still......totally worth it.

Something I did that was kind

While we were in the car waiting for Daddy at work Mama got tired and put her head in her hand. I said, "Mama you havin' a rough day?" She said no, that she was just tired but that it was kind of me to ask.

Funny thing I said

E: Mama who that guys in the Jesus story?
Mama: Hmm the wisemen?
E: No.
Mama: Hmmm the shepherds?
E: No. I thinking bout it, Mama. No talk while I thinking.

Funny thing Mommy said/did

Did you know that you are my first miracle??

Fun activity

Went to work with Daddy for a couple of hours. I told Mama that while I was there I worked hard riding my bike all around daddy's work.

This week in the Wonderful World of E:

A new skill I learned

Letter P. We talked about it at the library. It sounds like POPCORN!

Something I'm working on
Saying my full name. So far it goes like this "Easton Foulger Nate" Mama says the "Nate" part is Nathaniel and goes in the middle :)

Something I did that was naughty

Ran onto the stage in the middle of the ward Christmas part, ripped open the curtains and yelled "HI MAMA!!!" as loud as I could. I got everyone's attention.

Something I did that was kind

Went caroling to my neighbors with some friends from church. We got to visit my favorite buddy, Glen!

Funny thing I said

Mama I ride a cow.  On da cow's back. In a barn. Cuz I a cowboy!

Funny thing Mommy said/did

Don't ride the baby Cowboy!

Fun activity

Went to Christmas Village and got to ride a train!
