A new skill I learned

Zippers! I conquered zippers!!

Something I'm working on
Counting. So far it goes like this...1, 2, 3, 8, 29, 30, 38

Something I did that was naughty

Mama was painting some trim around my door and I put my toes in it!

Something I did that was kind

Kept asking Mama, Daddy, and Kinley if they were having a "rough day"

Funny thing I said

Mama I go to Salt Lake Temple to get married. I get married to Daddy at Salt Lake Temple!

Funny thing Mommy said/did

Stop licking Grandma!

Fun activity

Thanksgiving! I went to THREE different parties and got to play with all of my cousins.

Seven Months

Seven Months Old

Merry Christmas! Baby girl you were busy as usual this month. You discovered the exosaucer (see picture below). You are amazing. You generally like to stay glued to my hip (which I sure don't mind) but when I put you in the exosaucer you start jumping like crazy. You have always had super strong legs and you love using your leg muscles, always have, so the jumper is perfect for you! Your brother loves to crawl into your crib in the mornings. I find you two giggling in there! You are thinking about crawling, getting up on your hands and knees and rocking. You are getting close baby girl!

This week in the Wonderful World of E:

A new skill I learned

Removing safety door knob covers.

Something I'm working on
Finding ways to sneak into the aisle during sacrament meeting. I was SO close last week.

Something I did that was naughty

Using tongs to take a big chunk out of the middle of the New York Cheesecake Mama spent all day making. Also, see "A new skill I learned".

Something I did that was kind

Climbed into crib with baby and snuggled her. I told her it is my job to protect her and keep her safe.

Funny thing I said

When Mama got me a drink I said, "Thank you Baby Emmy". It was a funny joke I made up. It made Mama laugh.

Funny thing Mommy said/did

She got a REALLY funny look on her face when I destroyed her cheesecake. Then she put me in my room. I had fun playing in there. Mama is so funny.

Fun activity

Going sledding! Daddy hooked my sled up to the 4Wheeler and away we went! WAHOO!

This week in the Wonderful World of E:

A new skill I learned

Setting the dinner table for Mommy and Daddy, using my special plates.

Something I'm working on
Writing my name on the table using my spoon and the milk left over from my cereal

Something I did that was naughty

Tore up a puzzle piece along with some other small objects and jammed them into the water tank of Mommy's carpet shampooer vacuum.

Something I did that was kind

For no reason at all climbed up by Mama while she was feeding baby, put my arm around her, gazed very intently and for a LONG amount of time into her eyes, then said, "Me love you!"

Funny thing I said

(Looking at his bare toe) Hey TOE! You naked!

Funny thing Mommy said/did

Called me "Baby Easton" and rocked me like when I was a baby. Silly Mama! I big Easton.

Fun activity

Using my special scissors to cut up lots of paper. I'm pretty good at cutting!

This week in the Wonderful World of E:

A new skill I learned

Saying, "trick or treat", "thank you" and "happy halloweeeeeeeeeen".

Something I'm working on
Zippers. I can button my pants like a PRO, now for that  zipper.

Something I did that was naughty

Got into Grandpa's chocolate, ate too much, and got a big belly ache.

Something I did that was kind

Grandma had a plant in the window. She told me it was there to get some sun to help it grow. I made sure it was in the sun then gave it a little kiss.

Funny thing I said

Clip in Mama hair, clip in me hair, clip in Baby hair, clip in Daddy........hat. 

Funny thing Mommy said/did

Please do not hit me with the octopus.

Fun activity

Halloween! Carved pumpkins, went to the ward party, visited Grandmas and Grandpas, and went trick or treating!
