Bear Lake Camping!

I have been so busy taking care of my new baby sister I haven't had time to write! I have lots to catch up on but I will have to work on it a little bit at a time. Today I wanted to share a video my Aunt Jess took of me this last weekend. We went camping and I was SO excited I couldn't stop talking. I had so much to say that Papa and Nana had a hard time understanding all of it.

Camping is THE BEST. Aunt Jessi rode up with us and read me lots of stories to make the drive go faster. Mama and Daddy say I was made for camping. I spent most of the time outside covered in dirt playing with my cousins. I rode bikes with Aubree, Kambri, and Cash. Papa made us a cool bike jump. We dug holes. I found lots of sticks. Aunt Jennie brought me bubbles. Riley and Trace (my older cousins) took me on walks and Mommy said they kept me safe. We went to Bear Lake and I had a blast throwing rocks in the water. I went out on a paddle boat with my cousin Cash, Aunt Jill, and Papa and Nana. Nana saw a big fish in the water and so I kept looking for one too. I even wore a life jacket like my cousin Cash. I went on the motorcycle with Papa and the 4wheeler with Daddy. I got to sleep in our trailer with Daddy and Mama slept on the other bed with Baby Kinley. Mama and Daddy say I'm lucky I'm such a big boy because I can do so much more than baby, and it's true! Baby Kinley didn't get to play outside in the dirt like me! Here are a few pics from the trip :)
I had BIG work to do!
My baby sister and my new baby cousin. They are only 5 weeks apart!

Blessing Day

Beautiful day. Beautiful girl.

Special thanks to Jess for taking the beautiful pics for me!

Dinosaur

How does such a big dinosaur noise come out of such a sweet little girl? I remember her big brother used to make the same nosie!

Also, kudos to my little dinosaur on fitting her entire fist in her mouth. Her next goal is fitting BOTH fists in her mouth :)

Sidenote: I LOVE the way she looks at her daddy after he kisses her :) So sweet.

Three Months

Three Months Old

You are three months old baby girl! Time is flying! You are busy eating and growing and learning to roll over. You have gotten quite good at all three. This month you celebrated your first 4th of July. The parade was loud but you didn't seem to mind as aunts, uncles, grandma, and grandpa all took turns holding you. You bring a smile to everyone you meet little lady. Daddy gave you your first blessing this month too. You were such a good girl while Daddy held you and you were surrounded by those that love you. You looked just like the beautiful angel you are in your blessing dress.

Introducing Kinley Anne

Wow it's only taken me two and a half months to get this post up :)

There I sit, 40 weeks pregnant, in the doctor's office praying I've made some sort of progress towards labor. My stomach sunk when my doctor told me I had actually dilated backwards half a centimeter. WHAT? Is that possible? Apparently it is. I'd been having contractions all night, every night, for about two weeks. But like clock work as soon as the sun came up they stopped. Before I was able to grab the closest object to hurl across the room (don't mess with a hormonal full term pregnant lady!) the doctor saved both of us by suggesting he induce me the next morning.

This was taken the morning we headed to the hospital. One day shy of my due date.

Rather than bore you with all of the nitty gritty details I'll sum up.

Pitocin started 9 am. Contractions. Water broken 11 am. More contractions. Epidural 4 pm. Extreme nausea and fever 7 pm. Jump from a 4 to an 8 by 9 pm. Contractions. Nausea. Waiting. More waiting. Pushing time 2:15 am. Welcome to the world beautiful girl 2:28 am :)

6 pounds 12 ounces
19 inches long
10 perfect fingers
10 perfect toes
I'm convinced the 18 hours of labor was because my little girl wanted to come on her official due date. She is so punctual :)

We are so blessed.

We are so in love.

* Big thanks to my sister Jess for hanging out all day (and night!) to capture all of the wonderful pics.
