What does an army guy do?

He bakes cupcakes.

He colors using EVERY crayon.

Hangs out with his army guy buddy.

Drinks root beer at the Halloween party

Decorates cookies

Cheats at the donut eating game

 Carves pumpkins

Wears snow clothes OVER his army clothes, need those muscles!

Rides with his sister

Saves the damsel in distress AKA put sister in her chair that she can't reach on her own.

That is one handsome army guy! Easton told me the other day, "Mama when I grow up big like Daddy I will be so sad because then my army guy costume won't fit! Mama can you buy me one in grown up size?"

Absolutely, you can wear it to prom :)

*I do wash this army guy costume that gets worn nearly every day, usually by sneaking it away at night and returning it by morning. I don't want to mess with the army guy!

December

A random picture sampling from December

This girl is so sweet. She loves kissing Grandma's decorations, especially the giraffe.

She is very interested in books. When it gets very quiet I find her in random rooms of the house, sitting just like this, thumbing quietly through a book.

Sledding!

Putting up the tree.

One Month Old

I love baby toes.

Look who is smiling! He looks so much like his big brother, especially when he smiles.

Snow Day

We somehow managed to get both the babies to sleep so we could go play in the snow! Nothing like a Mommy-Son Snow Date!

Snowball fight!

And his most favorite thing to do, fall back into the snow! He must have done it a dozen times.

Oh how I love this boy! He is so much like his Daddy, he could LIVE outside if we let him.

Christmas

Christmas was so much fun this year, mainly because Easton understood so much more and was so excited.
On Christmas Eve we watched "It's a Wonderful Life" while we got our house ready for Christmas, including leaving a snack for Santa and his reindeer. We read the Christmas story and brought out our presents for each other. We gave Easton strict instructions on not going into the family room but coming to our room first when he woke up in the morning. He was really good, and though he could barely stand it he waited for all of us to get up before trekking in. He was thrilled at the note Santa left thanking Easton and Kinley for the snacks. He especially got a kick out of the nibbled carrots the reindeer left behind.

Reading Santa's note

Flashlight, best stocking stuffer ever for this "army guy"!

Very tired Mommy & Daddy

Kin loved her new kitchen!

Easton was THRILLED with his new bow & arrow, Mommy on the other hand is not so sure!

Cookie decorating at Grandma & Grandpa's.

Easton's awesome motorcycle gear he got from Uncle Josh. His cute Aunts helped him put it on.

Christmas Village

Although I didn't get too many pictures we had a blast visiting Christmas Village in Ogden. Easton really wanted to climb in every single house. Kinley oooo'd and awwwww'd at all of the lights and really enjoyed her view from on top of Nathaniel's shoulders. Asher was a champ and took a nice cozy nap bundled up and snuggled down in his covered carseat.

This pic was taken before we added the layers, I just love his little snow hat!
