Huntin'

BY EASTON

On Saturday we went Christmas Tree huntin'!! I brought my woof woof (that's what I call my doggy now) and lots and lots of warm clothes and blankets. It was a good thing too - it was cold up there, and there was lots of snow. I loved riding on the 4wheeler with dad. I got pretty tired pretty quick though and I took a couple of really good naps up there, I was so warm and comfy!

See how happy I was when I woke up?

Here are some other pics from the trip.

My woof woof's paws got COLD so she rode with the trees!

Mama says she can't stop kissing me, that I'm just too sweet.

I love to drive the 4wheeler but Daddy wrapped me up super warm so it was hard to steer. I decided I'd let him drive, just this once.

Now we have a beautiful Christmas tree! Me and Daddy picked it special and I helped Daddy cut it down. I can't wait for Christmas!

S-N-O-W

BY EASTON

It snowed this week! I was so excited. Mommy got me all bundled up

Then out we went.

Fern LOVED chasing snowballs.

I loved leaving prints in the snow.

Mommy built a snowman and I set a new record for "Destroying a Snowman in the SHORTEST amount of time"

See?

What I've been up to

BY EASTON

I've been super busy since I last wrote. I am growing crazy fast. I'm getting so tall that I can now reach every drawer in the kitchen. You wouldn't believe all of the exciting things I've found in there! My favorite drawer in the kitchen is what Mom calls the "junk drawer". I even found some gum that Mom is so good at hiding from me. She caught me eating a piece. It was YUMMY.

For Pioneer Day we lit fireworks. I did one all by myself.

I have two new friends that I take care of. MY FISH! I helped Mommy pick them out and put them in their new home, which sits on my dresser. I am so good at feeding them. I even tried eating their food. It didn't taste as good as the gum I found in the junk drawer.

I've gotten really good at art. Mom gives me crayons and markers. They work good but you know what I found in the "junk drawer"? A PEN! It works so much better. It writes on me...and the couches....not so much on Fern but she wouldn't hold still.

Daddy had a big race in Jackson. Mommy said I was such a good boy because it was a LONG drive. I loved the hotel we stayed in. It had a very bouncy bed!

We went camping last week. I always love camping but this time was extra special because there was lots of SNOW! I got to go on a motorcycle and 4wheeler ride with Daddy. I am such a good camper!

We also found out that I am going to be a BIG BROTHER!! I got to watch the video the doctor took of Mommy's tummy. You can see the little baby with a beating heart. I love pointing out the heart and smiling and laughing. I'm going to be the best big brother!

Jib jabbin'

BY EASTON

I am learning so many new things! The past few weeks I've gotten especially good at communicating. I use sign language to tell Mommy when I want more cookies (I also use rolling around on the floor screaming to communicate that one too - very effective!) I'm also using lots of words. I used to call my doggy "woof woof", but since I'm getting so grown up I call her "da" now (that means dog). I also say moon, hotdog, mama, dad, and even phrases like "all done". Mommy took a video and tested me the other day. She said I got an A + + which is apparently pretty good. I was kind of busy when she was trying to record me - I had big things to do. Good thing I'm so good at multi-tasking. And it's fun getting Mommy to chase me around. In this video I even show you my whistling skills! Check it out!
