RIP Tooth

I really should have seen this coming, REALLY. With how crazy my girl is? My baby girl has springs in the bottom of her feet. She doesn't stop moving unless she is asleep, and even then she moves ALL over the place.

We were at a friend's house and Kinley climbed up on a barstool. She slipped and hit her tooth on the barstool on the way down. During the confusion we found this.

That is her front tooth. HUGE right? Apparently the roots are super long until the permanent tooth dissolves it.

We went to the dentist the next day to make sure the entire tooth came out and there wouldn't be any spacing problems. We decided to do her 2-year check up at the same time.

She did alright, as long as her brother stayed close. She wasn't quite as cooperative as Easton is but we got through it. Dentist says the missing tooth looks fine, we'll just have to wait for the new one to come in.....in about five more years.

RIP little tooth. Now my girl is just a new kind of cute :)

May 2014

Here is our May in a few snapshots.

Memorial Day Camping (more pics to come)

These two. No one can pick on his little sister! Except him of course.

Got my hair chopped!

Getting too big for a sink bath?? NAH

She finally let me paint her nails. She LOVED it. I've never seen her sit so still, when she is awake anyway.

Easton got an elastic loom and made us all bracelets. Even Asher.

Sweet slumbering babe.

My boy the builder.

Dear Kinley

Dear Kinley Anne,

Baby girl you are TWO! When did that happen? Kinley Anne your crazy and beautiful personality has really come out this year! You are spunky, busy, energetic, bubbly, and sweet. You still growl and laugh like a dinosaur, just like when you were a baby. And now you sing. You love to sing, though you refuse to do it on cue. You love singing "Let it Go" and "Teach Me To Walk in the Light". You are loud and crazy one moment, then I can't find you the next. Eventually I root you out, usually hid behind the curtains quietly looking out the window or tucked in a corner reading a book.

You love your big brother so much. You two are partners in crime. You play chase and hide & seek. You jump off of the coffee table on to your bean bags. Actually jump off most anything you can climb. And each day you learn to climb a little higher. You make Mama nervous!

You love Nemo. You start each day by chanting" MEMO MEMO!" You love pancakes, cheese, and mandarin oranges. Sometimes I'm pretty sure you have springs in the bottom of your feet. You skip. Oh you are so adorable when you skip. On the playground you scurry to the tallest slide (giving us heart attacks) and slide down. Your feet barely hit the ground before you skip to the stairs to do it all over again.

You are a spunky tiny little thing! You recently learned two fun new phrases, "hmmmmmmm NO!" and "MINE! MINE! MINE!" It's so hard not to laugh when we see this big feisty attitude come out of such a tiny sweet girl.

You are such a light in our home. You are a ray of sunshine. Your sweet grin and dinosaur giggle keep us all smiling and laughing too. Don't grow up so fast baby girl!

We love you,
Mama & Daddy

6 lbs 11 ounces
19 beautiful inches long

Our sweet baby boy joined our family on a Sunday afternoon. Labor and delivery was much quicker this time and went smoothly. We are so grateful for this sweet little guy and his tiny little spirit in our family. It's so strange realizing you found something that you didn't know was missing.

On the way to the hospital

Welcome to the world baby boy. It just got a little brighter since you arrived.

Me & Mine

A few more favorites from the Lifestyle shoot my sister did for us :) We are so incredibly blessed with our little family. What a beautiful trio of miracles!
